Small Business
Small is relative. It’s important to considered labelling oneself as a ‘small business’ when the business required access to specific relationships (especially through groups or grants) and related resources such as social or financial support, business referrals, and asset exchanges.
small business

label
a self-selected label (typically by the business owner) to describe the business size/structure relative to other businesses.
Usage note: Identifying as a small business gains access to material and non-material support for businesses growth and operations.
