When to use

Small is relative. It’s important to consider labelling oneself as a ‘small business’ when you want or need access to specific relationships (especially through groups or grants) and related resources such as social or financial support, new business, and asset exchanges.

Application Example: Identifying as a small business gains access to material and non-material support for businesses growth and operations. When you can clearly map which relationships connect your business to what assets, then you can continue to improve your business operational efficiencies and effectiveness through being truly clear and connected in your business efforts and exchanges.
