5 | The Work Life Balance Model* (Layer 4)

Here we're building the 'foundational' thinking layer. The layer that is most often come from or back to in planning and problem-solving. Enjoy.

To lessen the learning curves, we’re laying the layers so that each build is built on familiar footing. Enjoy.

In Short

The initial sub-container layer (or areas, as many enjoy referring to the spaces at this level of logic and language) is where some of the detail comes from of mind to reveal where we’re active across our three main containers.

While many may detect the opportunity for complexity in this layer, we’re holding front of mind that it’s important to keep it clear and simple (enough) and to remember that each area’s activity is active at different times for different needs across the calendar year.

From here this layer will be the most ‘come back to’ layer to move forward with clear and considered direction. Enjoy.

Conversations for Context

The It’s (not) A Big Thing Podcast contains the conversations that build the context that we’re applying the Work Life Balance Model* (the model) in the context of solo business. Each time we circle back to centring the model front of mind, we’ll keep you connected by adding the conversations below. Enjoy.

41 | How we’re balancing work and life while running a solo business

42 | How mapping resources and relationships makes more sense in solo business

43 | How ai is forcing the revisit to business models…and why it’s good news for solo business

44 | How preparing business reports can (actually) frow the way we work in solo business
